VINTAGE PURSE WORKS - BLUE MANDALIAN MESH PURSE

The purse pictured here had numerous repair issues: the frame was bent in on one side and was missing the hinge pin, a significant amount of the chain fringe was missing, and some mesh was detached around the hinges. It also had an old replacement lining which had been crudely installed. For restoration: the frame was straightened, and a new hinge pin installed. The remaining chain fringe was removed and replaced with a newer vintage replacement chain comparable in size. The enamel mesh was reconnected at the hinges, and a new blue silk lining installed, complementing the colors in the enamel.
